Let’s get 2022 kicked off with a conversation about magic…

I am a 34 year old homeschooled and now homeschooling mom - and that means I was in the generation of Harry Potter fan kids. I’m talking Barnes & Noble book release events dressed in full wizard costumes. Harry Potter, Hocus Pocus, and Sabrina The Teenage Witch were my childhood. I kept waiting for an owl, or somebody, to tell me I was magical. At some point in time, I realized the letter wasn’t coming and I was doomed to muggledom…. Or was I? Maybe I felt magical because there was magic in me - it wasn’t witchcraft or sorcery, but it was magic nonetheless.

It’s the magic we all have. The magic to love, heal, create, swim, and breathe. The magic the Earth creates; the magic that created roses and deserts, the sea and the sunsets, and the energy that flows and conducts in the crystalline structure of atoms. Perfectly ordinary, completely by design, and intoxicatingly magical. 

The magic of energy: your energy, my energy, the Earth’s, the star’s, the sun's, and the moon’s - our collective energy. It makes Practical Magic…

We are kicking off the new year with Practical Magic, a collection to inspire our individual magic. To invoke our truest self, to encourage our most authentic expression, to help us anchor ourselves in personal truth and guide us as we live out our brand of magic in 2022.
