The Hallows Collection

The Hallows Collection

To hallow is “to make holy or sacred, to sanctify or consecrate, to venerate, to cleanse and wash away.” Now to pull in Halloween: Halloween’s origins date back to the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain (pronounced sow-in). The Celts, who lived 2,000 years ago mostly in the area that is now Ireland, the United Kingdom, and Northern France, celebrated their new year on November 1st. This day marked the end of summer and the harvest and the beginning of the dark, cold winter. Moving out of light into darkness. What does that mean for Wild Alabaster? In August, we celebrated the sun with the Sol Rising Collection; we harnessed light and warmth. In September, we created space to transition into darkness with the Autumn Equinox Collection. The Hallows Collection is here to honor the end of the cycle, to give meaning to the releasing of the things that no longer serve us. To wash away. This collection dives into deeply grounding and protective crystals. We will see a lot of dark colors and they will guide us and be a tool for the winter months ahead.
